It is true. Motor #770040 is alive and well. After I performed some minor cosmetic surgery on the crankcases, Dr. Wright was able to restore pulmonary and circulatory functions to the patient.

We actually have had him in therapy the last few weekends and the TOTAL hours on this motor are now over 83. The hospital bill was just over $800 not including my own personal time on the crankcases. That breaks down to about $10/hour of operation in repair costs that the motor has cost me.

Glenn... Your nemsesis lives... Your mine in Vegas...(cue evil music)... (cue evil laugh)MUUUUAAHAHAAHAHA! (fade out)

770040 is just too impersonal.
Since it was brought back from the dead, may I suggest Frankenmotor?

Way to go Nick.

And I think I agree with Pete. It needs a good name.

Okay... We will give it a name...

I like the Frankenmotor thing...

Maybe everyone else would care to jump in here and lend a suggestion. If nothing else it would be amusing.

Have any torch carrying villagers from Rotaxia came after FrankenMotor and tried to kill it because they did not understand it?

well, in deference to the motor's tendency to continually drain the racer's life blood (cash), how about Dracultax?

Dracultax...

Definitely not Dick...

Your ill experiences with your motor, whether relative to a 'lemon' of a motor or improper maintenance and care have nothing to do with the naming of the 80+ hour motor which I happilly own and maintain.

I was getting a kick out of some of the creativity in this thread... Why not let it continue?

That's why I put the winky winky thing there... It was also meant as light hearted...
