We will be posting the all the updates we can on this link for the upcoming event. We want to keep you updated as much as possible on the event so that you are aware:
- I talked to VIR and the track is rented on Thursday so we will not get in until approx 6:00 pm Thursday evening the 26th. Our setup crew will get in at 5:00 for pit setup. We will then let all WKA Sponsors, WKC Sponsors in first. For all sponsors please ask (at the pit pass sales) for a copy of the sponsor parking map. This map will tell you where your pit spot is by number. When you arrive at the pits WKC will have a spot reserved with your number on it. Please bring your reserved spot sign to the registration area when you check in.
- Gate sales will start at 4:30 and will close at 11:00pm Thursday evening. You will not be allowed to enter into the track after 11:00 Thursday or Friday night. VIR security will have you park outside the pit entrance area. We will open the gate at 6:00 am on Friday and Saturday morning.
- Registration area will be open at 7:00pm to pickup your pre entry information and to take any at track entries.
- Yamaha Sportsman special race will be Friday evening after practice and the cadet race.
- Cadets will have the Friday evening race and it will be on the North course not the full course. Cadets will run the last two practice sessions before their race.
- There will be no 4 cycle pump around for this event. WKC has removed that from it's requirement. KCP will still have fuel available for purchase if any is needed.
- If possible Tuesday or Wednesday we will post the final entry counts and grid/kart information. This does NOT keep you from checking in at pre registration and on line posting is not the official information.
Thanks to all for supporting WKC and its attempt to rent the "Full Course" at VIR. We hope that this is a successful event and that we will be able to do it again in 2013.
See you at the track!

Can you reconfirm the entry count in CIK125? I registered yesterday and Stephen Rougeou just told me that he also pre-registered, but you only list 1 entry. _________________ Noah Stark

Noah,
I'm doing pre-reg for WKC this year and I got your online registration on the 19th for the CIK 125 1&2 races. Currently you are the only one entered but I have not entered any mail-in forms since Sunday in that list since I'm on vacation this week although I did enter all the online entries this morning. I will enter the mail-in forms Sun/Mon and then set the grid. Haven't seen Stephen's yet so I assume he mailed it in.
No Stock Honda this year? We already have 12 in one class and should be some good competition.

Pretty sure he did mail his in.
No stock honda for me this year. Would like to, but dont have the $$ to run both stock and CIK. My mods are running pretty good, and are actually being very very reliable and easy on parts. Put 10hrs on my last RS piston and I just changed it because I felt bad for it.
Plus beer-thirty comes faster when I run only CIK... less to tear down and put back together in tech _________________ Noah Stark

Update:
Sprint Enduro karts wanting to participate in the WKC Sportsman Special race are allowed to run an additional tank or sump to have enough fuel to run for 40 minutes.
All tanks or sumps have to be completely removed from the kart for the Sat and Sunday normal WKA National races. |

Update on track entering time Thursday evening:
Today I talked with VIR and we will not get into the track for setup until 5:30. That means that we will not be releasing any sponsors to enter the track until about 6:00 or 6:15. I am hope that our paddock setup will be pretty quick and that we will be able to get folks in ASAP after 5:30.
I ask for all to be patient when you get to the track and we will work as hard as we can to get you in their as quick as possible.

I see from way back when a good time in CIK 125 should be around 2.55, man I forgot how long that place is. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |

The Grand East... Sissy's can't make a few corners er what!
Greg can you do me a favor and go stand out on the grid with an axle. Hold it way up in the air and dance around some. It's a good luck ceremony for all the racers.
Have fun kids and good luck to all. _________________ www.Hegar4.com |
