|
|
NCK is in the process of firming up Friday July 6th at Thunderhill.
After Reno Fernley cancelled our dates we began looking for replacement dates. Unfortunately this late in the year dates are few and we felt that this was the best date currently available to us.
After requests from karters we will be adding a practice only group to our regular program at this event. If you've always wanted to run a big road course but aren't sure about mixing it up in an actual race then this group is for you.
We still have to work out the final details of this event but wanted to start getting word out as soon as possible so racers can make plans.
It's been 3 years since we've been able to get on track at Thunderhill. It's a great track and NCK hopes you will support our return. Please help spread the word.
More information will be posted here and at www.nckroadracing.com as it becomes available. |

Yippeee! I love Thunderhill! It is alot safer than any other track. I am going to contact all my old roadrace friends and see if they want to just do laps or race. Maybe we can get them addicted again
They have those great canopies to pit under and all those modern conveniences like flush toilets showers, and a snack bar!!! |

Second half of 2012 is looking pretty good:
July 6th Thunderhill Raceway - the infamous turn 5 drop
August 25th Buttonwillow Raceway counterclockwise with Lost Hills 4 wheels off the ground
November 24th Infineon Raceway (Sear's Pointe) ALMS configuration
It kind of worked out for the club by fate that our schedule was lite this year so that some of our members have a chance to get back on their feet. If you know one of our club members that have a business that could use our support, let us know, and let's patronize our fellow racers

This is great news! Thanks NCK that must of been pretty hard to get a date at Thunderhill - for those people that have never raced this track - this is a great track and well worth making the effort to get there!
Now I have said that - unfortunately I will not be able to make it as I will be out of the country but I want to wish all my fellow NCK members good luck and all the best for this race ! |

Thanks NCK.
Please make sure our northern and southern friends know about this as well.
Fun to be had! |

Anthony, we will miss you like a brother. Say hello to Elizabeth for us
Perhaps your friend that races 125's might be able to come? This would be the best break-in procedure for a new roadracer |

Another name change...Sonoma Raceway
But it's still Sears Point to me! Just like Laguna Seca will never be Mazda Raceway. |

This is great news for NCK.
Unfortunately I think it's a little late notice for me, my kart probably wouldn't be ready in time and most of my pit crew will be out of town... darn summer vacations..
If anyone has a kart they wouldn't mind letting me run for the classes that I race in, let me know because I really want to race! Thanks! _________________ www.youtube.com/dcworld74 |

It's over a month away. You should be able to carve a kart out of stone by then. _________________ A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to get its pants on. -- Winston Churchill. |
