We went out and run some test.
We get a very bad bog at 6500 RPM's
This stays till we get to 6700 RPM's and then it takes off.
But the bog lasts quite a while. |

Well, we must have done something wrong.
Worked on it all day yesterday and thought we had it out, and sized the motor.
Guess we'll see what happens when it gets back. |

I'll have to look at our notes. I'm not sure.
Funny, Jr. just said it was running great and a few laps later and it just stoped.
Checked the plug and it didn't look lean either. |

I'm experiencing the same problem again. Early in my Rotax days I had this problem and fixed it with the needle position but the problem is back now and the needle is burried in the jet (clip position on top).
I'm going to re-stuff the exhasut (it's a 10 hour maintenance interval and mines got 25 hours)....we'll see what that does.
That sux that you stuck your motor, wish you better luck. |
