EKN TRACKSIDE: Friday Update
Hot and gross...those are the words to describe the conditions in South Bend, Indiana today as temperatures were well over 100 degrees. Practice has wrapped up for the day with all the groups getting plenty of track time. Some even elected not to take in the final sessions to save their body's and equipment.
The track conditions are much different from any Man Cup event before. Moving to July and the rubber laid down by the Mojo tires from the Rotax Summer Shootout are giving some challenging conditions. New tires last only a few laps before the times drop off.
Here is your for the day tomorrow:
Komet Heavy
Cadet Final 1
Komet Jr Heavy
TaG Final 1
Yamaha Sportsman 1
Yamaha Rookie Sportsman 1
Yamaha Jr. Lite
Parilla Leopard
Yamaha SuperCan Lite
Komet Sportsman
TaG Masters Final 1
