Finally got the old KT100 up and running. It has some version of Horstman on it. I refilled the oil at the 9 o'clock position. It leaked down to the 8 o'clock as full.
It still leaks leaving a decent size spot on the clutch support with the engine running. is there a reseal / rebuild kit for these?
Where do you find them?

That is normal, there is no seal on either side of the clutch where the crankshaft or starter nut go through.
If you fill it to 9:00 it will always leak down until the level is below the starter nut opening which is about 8:00!!

You are actually better off to very slightly underfill a wet clutch.

As far as rebuild parts, most kart shops should have them, I know we do.

Even the 8 o'clock position is probably too much when it gets running and the oil gets hot. The oil will expand and will probably leak some more. Run a couple laps and check the level. You will find they have a "happy spot" where they will quit leaking at. Mine were always a little less than 8 o'clock position.
