What is the differance between the green and red rubber and are they both legal? Barry

The difference is that the red rubber is the old design and it was changed some years ago to the green rubber as the red rubber often came off the PV piston if the engine backfired - the green rubber is much better.

I would change to the green as soon as you can Wink


The red should still be legal as far as I know but check your local rules just to be sure

I believe in the US, the orange colored PV bellows is no longer legal.
