Hi.

I am about to purchase a new senior max engine. The engine I am looking for is brand new, never been on track but has been tuned and benched. The seller is asking relatively high price for engine, as it is supposed to be very good individual. He provided me power curves from the tests and I'm wondering if the engine is really exceptional good and is it good enough for Euro Challenge.

For me it looks like the upper-end is short or is it just question of carb tuning?

edit: chart removed

Cheers,
TK

The only way to know is to test it back to back on the track.

A dyno curve can be made to say almost anything you want it to in absolute terms just by playing with the software.

Sorry, I was requested to remove the chart.

I agree about dynos, results are not comparable due to many factors... But should they tell character of power, taking consideration RPM values are normally correct?

Example, if I assume the top HP won't be far from 28hp, I could scale the curve to correspond that factor and have more realistic results?
