|
|
| I recently purchased a Kart that is set up with a Vortex ROK engine and was wondering if anyone is still running this engine and where they get parts for it. I am in need of some smaller drive gears 9T or 10T and clutch parts (Springs & shoes) If anyone has any experience with this engine or has any parts for it let me know. |

| hello Todd, i recently got one and actually have been having a hard time with it, electronic problems and now a leak from the water pump, but the guys a J3 Competition have given me support, also for the sprockets, Righetti Ridolfi has them on their catalog, just find a local distributor and they can get them from you. Either way the clutch on the ROK is the same as the Old Rotax clutch, you shouldn't have a hard time finding parts for it. |

Thanks for the Replies. I have contacted J3 and they are unable to get anything smaller than the 11T.
Rudy...... You said that it is the same clutch as the Old Rotax motors.... do you know of a specific model that I would be looking for.
Thanks Again |

Acceleration Karting has the clutch repair kit. They don't have anything smaller than an 11 tooth driver.
Realistically you may not need anything smaller than an 11 tooth unless you are on a really really slow, tight track. The Rok has a good mid range but not much top end power.
Good luck with the Rok. I had one for a short period of time an wanted to run it, then found a good used Rotax and sold it. |
