My Buddy Just picked up a Rotax Kart with a Mychron 3 Gold. Is there anyway to connect the data system to th Rotax Battery, or another smaller external battery so he is not constantly eating AAA batteries.

Yes, but you have to send it back to AIM to have it converted, we use exactly that setup and it is in my view a good option Wink

Thanks John, I'll reach out to AIM and see what is involved. Constantly changing AAA batteries is a unwanted hassle.

Hmm, I have both a gold and a plus. we get pretty good service out of the lithium AAA batteries. I agree it sucks to change them frequently.
