Hi Shaun
Was this the Boysen Rad Valve?
Unless they have changed, they have an angled inlet to suit the bike. So not so good for Superkart use.
In all honesty we dyno tested them on MX bikes as well and found them pretty mediocre.
They are manufacturing a new "Rage Cage", but I believe that is for Snowmobile applications at least a present
Best Regards

| Tried the reeds mediocre is a bit of a understatement. Slightly irrelevant but on eBay noticed some v force 3 reeds but it says they are the latest design and massively different just wondered had anyone tried them?? |

Hi Shaun
I think the reeds for the 1986-2004 are still the same?
However they have changed the design of the reeds for the '05/'07 block and they seem prone to self destruct at high rpm.
Best Regards

| Since had an afternoon free went back to re try the reeds/cage to fair this is on a 2001 cr after a lot of carb set up hassle We found them to be slightly better than the v force mostly the first 1/4 throttle. But We had to richen the mid and top end slightly to get them to work. Just what We found |
