Hi,
I just moved from the east coast out to SF.
What adult series are the largest in the 2 hour vicinity of the city? What are some local support shops?
Any fellow SF city dwellers in here with tips and tricks to store their gear / kart?
Thanks _________________ email mjr62@cornell.edu |

Welcome to town! We have two very nice tracks and race series nearby!

I know that both Cameron Karting and Infinity Karting are located at or near the the Sonoma track. Both provide kart storage and track side support. Cambrian Karting located in San Jose attends all the races at both tracks and provide similar services. |

Matthew, are you racing 2 cycles or 4 cycles? If you are racing 4s you may want to consider hooking up with the Norcal Fourcycle Racing Association (norcal4cycle.com). We are a touring series and will be hitting Atwater, Davis, Dixon, Reno, Redding and Prairie City this year. Some of those tracks are a ways from the City but we've got members from Gilroy to Redding running with us. While we are competitive, we place a high level of importance on just having fun. Oh, and did I mention cold ones after the race? _________________ Brad Wunder

I did Rotax's on the east coast a while back.
Liked the reduced variables of the TAG classes.
Also Im larger so the senior class was nice to be able to not need to be 25lbs over the weight limit.
Glad to see there is an active community out here _________________ email mjr62@cornell.edu |
