| how's everyone doing tonight? I have a WF engine on my kart, used to race it for a while now just play around, driving the kart the other day and it started to run funny and leak a whole lot of oil, upon further investigation found the block broken at the base of the cylinder. Is this a common problem with these engines or is this just a fluck, I remember people talking about a updated block back when I raced the kart but did not now the reason for the update. Any help on the would be appreciated. Thanks Mike |

Michael - I agree with Michael P. We HAD an earlier generation engine and the latest generation. Recently during the last 5 min of a 4 hour enduro, we blew up the early gen engine. It had all the latest performance updates, but not the block. A guy from Portland took time to explain what happened and why - nice guy. Syd White (recently passed) an awesome 4 cycle builder told me when we got it," it's not if it's when" referring to blowing it up. We'll keep the clutch and carb and the rest will make a great anchor!
