2012 Sport Kart Grand Nationals - $5000 Prize Purse

The 2012 Sport Kart Grand Nationals, the most competitive 'Arrive & Drive' style event of its kind, is slated to be held at CalSpeed Karting Center in sunny Southern California on June 22-24th, 2012. The program is expected to draw many of the best racers from around the country and abroad to compete for three days of racing with a $5,000 prize purse up for grabs, as well as the chance to be named the inaugural 2012 Sport Kart Grand National Champion.


Schedule:

- Wednesday June 20th – Optional Practice
- Thursday June 21st – Optional Practice
- Friday June 22nd – Three 20-Minute Sprint Heats Per Driver
- Saturday June 23rd – Three 20-Minute Sprint Heats Per Driver
- Sunday June 24th – One 45-Minute Semi-Final Per Driver
- Sunday June 24th - One 25-Minute LCQ Race for Final Five Spots In The SuperFinal
- Sunday June 24th – One 1-Hour SuperFinal for Top 30 Drivers


$5,000 Cash Prize Payout:

- First Place - $2000
- Second Place - $1250
- Third Place - $750
- Fourth Place - $550
- Fifth Place - $450
