Our local club is going to allow the animal to race starting next race. I am going to set up my son and have the motor on order. I am looking for a few benchmarks on max rpm’s, temps, and jetting. I will be running this motor total stock out of the box to get a base line for further work. It will be running on methanol.
TIA

John, for jetting try a 38 and 135 and start with the needle in the mid. possition, not sure what your alt. is or how warm it is, but the factory meth. jet kit should give you everything you need, we shoot for about 7000 rpm but we do advance the timming, head temp shoot for 400-425, hope this gets you started. Bob

Thanks Bob for the starting points, it helps a lot. I just got the motor today and am trying to stuff on Top Kart chassis. To bad there isn't a gear box on the side to shift the PTO back some.

Thanks Again
John
