I'm planning on running a Honda 6.5 on a Paroling LeMans shifter chassis this coming summer. Are there any pro's or con's to running such a combination?

Cheers

I ran a box-stock briggs on an early Margay Syncro-quad shifter. I was heavy (about 370#), and the kart worked quite well. I have always had the best luck running a more flexable chassis with harder tires. This combo keeps the kart free to roll thru the corners, which is key with the low HP. The best thing about harder tires is they are very consistant. You can actually be running faster laps at the end of the race, when everyone else is tight and slowing down. Most shifter chassis are really stiff, and like very sticky tires.
