Not sure which Dellorto is the one to run, a VHSB I think. Tom would know which one is best.

If that is correct:

Dellorto VHSB 34mm $335.28
Fuel Line $2.00
Dellorto Bypass Fuel Pump $48.69
Total $385.97

VHSH30 is what the KZ's run. Not sure if that would be "best" for the CR but I'd love to see how it reacts to one.

CR125's and 250's both work awsome with Delorto carbs. We have run the 39 on both engines with great results. They have way more tuning options. Too bad they aren't legal for stock moto.

Imagine adding a ST GFS system to that! $800 to get fuel in a "stock" motor!

I was told that with the Dellorto, you dont need a GFS.

Doesnt matter, like Spencer said, the die is cast.

I was told with a double pumper you don't need a GFS! Very Happy

You won't know unless somebody tries it.......

All though there are many kart engines using Dellorto carburetors the VHSH30 (KZ) $240.34 and the VHSB36ND (Vortex TaG) $389.32 are designed specifically for kart engines. They feature a round bore and a flat throttle slide. If your not running a KZ the 36 is the way to go. Perfect size for 125cc moto engines.

P.S. VHSB 38 is $207.00.

Since we were talking about dual pumpers. Heres more droolworthy stuff.

Oscar, I'm jealous! Those carbs were a work of art!

I know I have stumbled on one of those great debates and I don't want to add fuel to the fire. All I really need to know is what maintenance do I need to do to the system.
I have the PWM carb and the rectangle shaped pump which I believe is the Keihen.
I have read about taking the pump apart to drain the oil and then I see the pics of the carb in this thread that looks coated with oil as well.
Do I do this after the end of the day or each run?
What carb mods were done to make this work?
I will be running this at a sprint track for fun and my goal is to just run with as little issues as possible. I want to drive and maintain the kart not tune it to the edge of exploding for that extra .001 seconds of time.
I doubt if I ever race, its just a way for an old man to have a little excitement.
Thanks for helping the new guy
