Hi I know the red cap would indicate it is pvl what else would indicate that it is pvl or what should I be looking for

The PVL ignition module will be one solid plastic piece as opposed to the old style which is laminated metal with a coil wound around. If you pull the flywheel cover (4 bolts) you can read the writing which will say which coil it is. Blue is Animal 12.5k rpm, green is LO206 6100 rpm, red is WF 7100 rpm.
