Different Layout

Different layout?

Got home tonight and this page is loading WAY slower than this afternoon and it looks different too.

Is it just me?

Deb,

Yes, there are some changes. You definitely would have a slower initial load of the new graphics. Let me know what the performance difference is now. I had a new ad banner for Intense up but took it down because of the file size and will be getting a leaner one up.

Glenn, All I see is EKN HOME on the top left, The other ads did not load. I can move my cursor over them and go to the link but I see no ad.

Is this by design or do I need to reload or something.

I get intense and ekartingnews.com only.

none of the groovy little boxes down the sides at all.

WAY slower download, even after posting replies, etc

Are all the squares by design? If they are they make it very difficult to read.

I just posted a reply in another forum and it took so long to post that I hit my post reply key again and it told me I flooded it.LOL

Ok on this forum the reply posted really fast. when I just now posted to Road Race (Tim Doll are you OK) it took a long time.

It is by design. The "ads" to the left are part of our testing process, and aren't meant to show up.

Thanks for the input. Question for you...

Do you find that, once you have visited a particular forum initially (and the load time is slow), that on return visits to that forum the load time is quicker?

So, if you went back to Road Racing (on the same computer, same web browser), does it still take a long time, or is it as quick as this forum?

It's slow to move about and the text is squished. No ads either, just EKN Home on mine.

What kind of browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape) and what version (go to Help, About) are you using?

It seems fine on IE5 MacOS 8.6
