Wonder how this would compare to the high dollar Champion rads?

This version with the mount is nice looking:

Mount looks like the one Fastech uses on theirs which is pretty nice IMO. Its smaller than a Champion medium for about $80 less. I use a champion large and I still can barely keep my kart cool during a Pro Solo in July.

I had a tab mounted radiator on one of the karts (not the one shown) and had problems w/tabs cracking. A big part of it was the mount design (similar to that shown - but mine would have a bit more flex in the ends). I just went back to another Champion - no fuss, no worries. In fact - posted and found a good used spare here on eKarting.

I found that by using thin rubber washers (just like metal fender washers) between the tabs and the cross brace bolts that they greatly reduce vibration which leads to the cracking.

I've also taken my radiator to a local radiator shop where they were able to double the thickness of the tabs for additional strength.
