I spoke with my Chinese friend yesterday. He told me to proper way to pronounce the names of the clone carbs.
the Huayi carb, I thought was Hoo-eye. He says it is "Why- ee" and, the
RuiXing carb is pronounced as "Racing" just as we say it.
Just found this interesting _________________ Began kart racing 1959. Made many friends along the way. |

If you enjoy the clone Stock Appearing classes, the RuiXing carbs that come on the Lifan engines have more material in them and can be bored larger than the carbs from the Yellow motors. The fuel "on-off" lever is separate from the carb on these. It looks the same and is mounted very close to the carb. But you can see a small fuel line hose between the carb and the shut off lever. You still need to offset the new venturi at least .020" to the right to avoid breaking into the low speed circuit.

Just completed the last job for this year. It's a stock appearing clone carb for alcohol fuel with a .800" venturi. Some welding and epoxy on this one.
Now, for a nice evening with some friends _________________ Began kart racing 1959. Made many friends along the way. |

I received 10 more Yellow clones in yesterday. All of these had Jing Bin carbs on them. Same size venturi and throttle bores. But different fuel flow tracts and orifice sizes. These carbs also have "designed in Japan" cast into the sides of the throttle bodies. _________________ Began kart racing 1959. Made many friends along the way. |
