| At race speed, that close together not sure I agree with that especially when lead driver changed his line(blocking ?) from all other previous laps. They had been taking different lines through there all day that's how Campbell passed him the first time on lap 2. Oh well its all opinion anyways and it's not like it will cause world peace...it is only karts...right! |

Rob or David
Is there any archives of Robs call of the races?
Now that we are home it would be nice to here a couple of the races we missed working or pacing _________________ Matt Dixon

chade i,m a s4 guy. a kart came over me in turn 1 on the start and peeled my rad cap off on lap 8 i pulled off with water high temps .i forgot to turn off my go-pro it has both mcniel and jasons interviews with rob after the race. jason states he clutched his kart after the contact to let mcniel go first because of his contact with him in corner entry but mcneil was stalled so he went but he said he did not want to .you can also hear howden say he was sure it would be a black checker. skusa made the right call . and your right its just karting . this dead horse has been throughly beat`in ! |

Due to some technical issues, we were unable to record any audio. We will make sure that the next live event we do, we will be recording the race calls. Again, sorry for the inconvenience. _________________ David Cole

Darrell,
There was some carnage...it seems S4 is good for that. A lot of competitive guys in that class. By the way what team were you running with out there? You hear all the names but its hard to keep everyone with who they are running with. Hope everyone has a great day.

Over all I thought it was a great weekend. The wind became predictable but otherwise the weather was great compared to the middle of america right now. The track was wide and fast with a fun layout. Thanks to the SKUSA staff for a smooth run event and the BBQ on friday was cool as well. Also thanks to HPD for the Top End kits to the podium finishers. _________________ Pinto |

Howie,
Great onboard footage. That track looks like "Serious Fun" for sure!
I'd forgotten how busy you are in a shifter kart!
Moto! Sounds like the old days.... _________________ Bill Wright

Yeah. I drove the track the other direction a few years back. This was so much better and is now one of my favorite tracks to drive and race ever. That being said like so many tracks, driving and just being there are two very different experiences. So dusty and unpleasant in the pits. _________________ Howie Idelson

The difference between a CIK "A" and a CIK "C" track is the infrastructure and amenities. It's definitely whats lacking in most facilities. But there's a reason for that..... _________________ Bill Wright

I like this feature. Enjoyed reading the news around and outside the track, not only on it. _________________ C. Skowron

Thanks Chuck. With the jam-packed schedule of the SpringNats, we weren't able to get into the paddock more than we wanted. Hopefully we will have more insider information as the year goes on from the events we attend. _________________ David Cole

| I just read the paddock article and it says the track record was broken. Pretty funny! The track record being held by a stinking stock Honda. I don't think so! Check the times on mylaps for the '06 Stars of Karting. Gary Carlton at 47.2 + others. The new times are probably the stock Honda track record but not the overall record. |
