WOW. The south track looks like a VIR design, though I have never been to VIR. Has any club been in contact with the track?

I have called them.. trying to see if we can get a test date this year.. this could be a nice addition to the mid-west series... will keep you posted..

The track surfacing wouldn't be ready till about may... north course only, 1.5 mi long, 36' wide, 112' elevation change?!?!

A test date? ON WHAT? Layout for the track hasn't even started yet. My business partner was in the area of the track and stopped by to take a look. A police officer was near the gate and he explained he was a racer and wanted to see what all the huba was about over this track. The officer was more then willing to allow him to venture all over the property because there was NOTHING there. I guess there is a good bit of equipment on the property, but that was about it. The land has been clearned and appeared to be maybe an old strip mine at one time. We will venture back over before the snow flys to see whats new. A first class facility would be great for this area! I know we can't wait
