Do karts ever run at Laguna Seca? If so, when? And who do I need to contact to participate?
Thanks! |

John, karts do ocassionally get the opportunity to run at Laguna Seca. One such occasion was this past May when the World 250 Super Kart Challenge ran. Fortunately the show was well received and we were invited back again. Our next event there will be the weekend of May 19, 2002. We will most likely run three classes, 125 Sprint sit up shifters, 250 IC/E, and 250 F/E.
News of the event will be come available at www.worldsuperkart.com as it develops.
Thanks for you interest, J.R. Clasen |

Hello Preston and thanks for the inquiry. The event will be by invitation only and we will be posting on the worldsuperkart.com web site as well as here on eKarting, when we would like people to send in their resumes. The criteria for selection will of course be based on experience, equipment, and team make up. For those competitors that I do not know personally, the resumes and referrals will be very important. Hope you guys decide to join us, it is gonna be one great race!!!
Thanx, J.R. |
