Larry,
I'll be there! I'm running in the F/E class. Anderson Mirage with a TZ-250. Please stop by!

I fly in to Burbank on thurs afternoon. Do you know if there will be any track activity on thurs? I know that Friday is a practice day. For me, the more track time I can get, the better!
Which class are you running?

Check with the track on Thurs. availability.
Generally it's $100 per day, per car, if it's available. I checked with JR this a.m., and he informed me that there will be a good amount of track time for practice. Plus, it will be run backwards, so it should even things out a bit. See you then.

I know very little about Superkarts, other than my Roadrace hero's Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainey both run them.
I currently sprint race...so how much do used Superkarts go for? I know thiers are powered by TZ 250's. Is this the only kart class that will race this weekend. I know the AMA superbike nationals will be going on at big willow at the same time. Lastly, is the Superkart race on Saturday, and if so what time is it?
Thanks,
Rob |

Rob,
The SuperKarts event is a support event for the SuperBikes, and it will for sure be an exciting thing to see. There are two classes, Formula E (unlimiteds) which are the twins, and ICE, which run 250 singles.
I saw today that there were atleast 23 drivers entered for the ICE class, with a few less in FE. They will be practicing and qualifying on Friday, with the main event to be run on Sunday. If you you make it out, stop by and say hello. Randolph will be in the ICE class, # 43.

Hi Larry,
Thanks for the invite, I am racing tomorrow at Adams. I am going to try and make Saturday, but I'm not sure about the other days. Approx. how much can you get a good used setup for in each class?
I read that Eddie built Wayne's chassis, are there companies that specialize in these chassis as well?
Thanks,
Rob |

Larry,
Last time I checked, there were going to be around 10 of us in F/E, myself included.
Also, I believe that the main event is going to be run on Saturday (not Sunday) at around 5:30 pm.

Larry & Eric,
I'm glad you reconfirmed the time, because Saturday fits into my schedule much better than Sunday.
I hope to be there on Saturday and will look you guys up.

Erik, you are correct about the mainrunning on Saturday. I was suffering from a severe case of "Brain-fart" . I agree with you on the issue of not having more race time, i.e. heat races. But I understand that there were some track time availability issues. In any case, I'm sure it will be a blast! And the last time I checked, there were 9 F/E's and 23 ICE's. This will be cool! |
