Now that the RRGN are over, our team is getting ready to race with SCK in Oct at Las Vegas.
I was wondering how many other people are planning to attend this event. Was thinking of having a pit party after the first race day... anyone interested? |

Deb,
I'll be there along with some of the Arizona gang. Are you going to drive? I want to be on the track the same time as you so you can feel the "thunder"!

Thunder?
I didn't think your kart was THAT big.
But, yes, I will be driving as will Tom (out of retirement) and Terry.
Look forward to seeing you again |

You gonna bring that Duffy winning KNIGHT driver on down to the land of a thousand elvis's?
Look forward to seeing you!
The dates are October 20 and 21. and the racing is always competitive!
Vegas is one of my fav. tracks. Last time I was lucky enough to get the track tour from Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainy, complete with tips on driving lines! I hope I get that again!
Look forward to seeing you and your team... bring a bunch of your gang with you, heck, maybe you can throw in a few of those crazy Canadians while you're at it! |

Deb: When we (SCK) reserved teh track, we were told it has changed a bit -again- from what we ran last time. So some of those tips may be a bit off now. Deb |

Oh I can't remember the tips from last time, I want to ride around with them and get my own personal training session again! It worked last time!
Any tips from Wayne and Eddie always help. they are very generous with their time and knowledge. I feel very lucky to know both of them.

What track in Vegas will the race take place on? The track in the infield of the oval or the track on the outside?
Thanks,
Richard

Richard,
The track we run at Las Vegas is on the outside. It's 1.8 miles long and runs clockwise. Good kart Road Race track, reasonbly smooth in that most of the bumps are avoidable. Easy on clutch karts, no slow corners but with long enough straights to do some drafting. They say they have made some changes since last time we ran and I don't know how old this picture is.

We checked the other tracks and nothing
is available for Sept.or Oct.
Vegas offered us another date but it was
a bad weekend for SCK
