This just in, The World Super Kart Challenge has been invited to run at WSIR in conjunction with the AMA Super Bike event on the weekend of Sept 14th, 2001. Grand Marshals for the AMA event are none other than World 500 GP Motorcycle champions Wayne Rainey and Eddie Lawson. Willow Springs and Yamaha have combined forces to provide what has been reported to be a five figure purse. In addition, the Speed Vision crew that is filming the AMA event will also be shooting the WSKC event!
All 250 F/E and IC/E teams are urged to contact J.R. Clasen via email or fax (760) 736-4008 (right now!) This is and invitation only event.
NOTE: If you plan on running at Laguna in May of 2002, it would be a good idea for you to make every attempt to be at this race. |
