I'll say it, I have a Deepseat that I LOVE! Not one ounce of rib pain all year using this seat along with a Tillet rib vest. Most people on the boards will tell you that the Tillet vest probably does very little to disperse the point of impact as the plastic is most likely too thin (That is my personal opinion, I could be wrong. Ribtec or Ribtect (I'm not sure which one is correct)makes a seat using the same general idea as the Deepseat that works well according to the posts I have read. Would I endorse the Deepseat..you bet. Am I a paid endorser...no way, I don't think anyone transporting their kart to the track on a Menards home built trailor is getting too much $$$ from anyone |

Bob, there has been a history, for somereason in this particular area (seats), of shall I say, *discussions* and posts that have gone way beyond simplying presenting the beneficial aspects of each product. In addition, what I would call excessively promotional user endorsements of one or the other which would be more appropriate to an infommercial have occured, usually triggering reactionary comments from the proponents of the other product. For some reason this issue seems to provoke much more emotional responses than many and has lead to some *discussions* getting out of hand, IMHO. |

I was thinking about that very same comment. Why in the hell does a seat bring so much debate?
I think the answer is within the 'bickering' of two seat manufactures in which both claim they made it to the moon FIRST
IMHO that's were I think all of the emotion comes from, from drivers and the like.
I know where my arse is planted and in what. But nonetheless both products are A-1. Period. Don't look at the politics of it, look at the seat for what it's worth to you, as a racer, ignore the rest.....
This soapbox is killing me arse mate !
