| Is anyone currenty using a CTS chassis in the Rotax class(es)? I'm curious which model is best suited for the class and would like some driver feedback. |

Gary;
Jim Bremner runs a CTS/Rotax in the International class and loves it. He is also pretty knowledgeable on the models and such. I have emailed him this thread for his response... |

| Oh Boy! the preasure is on! sweet kart! I run a ATTITUDE chassis with a rib tech seat Great stuff! The thing that I like about my CTS is that when I have a question Ray {the owner of CTS} will get on the phone with me! His welds are a unparelled with the robot slop that comes from europe.the kart handles well -it likes soft axles my last race had a medium axle and the kart wasn't happy.what is a problem with owning a CTS? my local dealer wasn't so warm and fuzzey to me { my kart came dirrect from Ray} and the fact that some of the hardware is metric - items that Ray outsources and the Items that he makes is american std. all in all would I buy another? YES. |

I have a new Attitude chassis with a Rotax. Jim Bremner gladly let me call him to discuss the CTS before I bought it (Thanks again, Jim).
I had a 15 degree engine mount made for it and the exhaust angle is perfect. I can fit a seat strut in with no problem.
I love the kart so far. Although expensive, I am really glad I bought it. It is unique, well built, and good looking. I have only practiced with it twice, since I always seem to have other things to do lately. With little adjustment I am about 1/2 second from other experienced Rotax's. It is very balanced and predictable.
The kart comes better suited for a tall driver and I am now trying to adjust the pedals. This should be no problem. The Brembo brake is unbelievable but I had brake problems with my last two karts! Be prepared for some unconventional handmade components and the mixture of metric and standard fasteners.
I will say that Ray (admitedly) does not know much about Rotax setup but his 80cc suggestions have worked well. E-mail me if you need more info.

Hey Chris! go out and race it damn it! If you contact Ray,
he can get you a new Brembo caliper so that you can mount you brake towards the seat instead of towards the rear all you need to do is buy a new bearing mount, dril the floating caliper bolt hole on the forward hole instead of the trailing hole{caliper at 10:00 instead of 2:00 } That will get the brake away from the pipe ! As far as unconventional parts? I only see better made parts that are straight forward. Jim
