Because we discuss all the little problems we encounter does not mean that every engine is having the same problem. If you spent any time driving a max motored kart you would understand the love hate relationship that develops. These motors are fast! They do have trade offs due to the lower maintenence and sealed motors, but having said that it's a joy not to deal with top end freshen ups or wet clutch adjustments. Also driving a Max is alot more fun than roto tilling
