Have an older Margay Brava(2002ish) in the shed that I was looking to maybe put a Raptor on for my youngest daughter. Now looking at seat struts(2 one angling back to rear cassette-other straight down fom seat) am wondering if it will fit. Any info on experiences with this would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm sure it'll work, the strut going to the rear cassette can just be moved, or removed same with the other one.

Why a Raptor though? Are they running them at your track or do you have one on the shelf?

Unless you already have the motor and are familiar with rebuilding them you'll be dollars ahead with a LO206.

Using the Margay Brava with a flathead will work very well. I would remove all the additional seat bars and just leave one on each side to mount the seat. All others going to to the bearing cassettes and such won't be needed. You won't need to run the track widths so wide also..
