A year ago I had to send mine to Margay, and they forwarded it on to Australia for repair. (I think they are the importer.)
It took a couple of months to get it back. |

Exactly correct - Bonnie @ margay handles the Sniper stuff. It is also true it takes quite a while for a return. I sent mine in mid December with nothing back as of yet. Disappointing it takes so long, but not a whole lot of choice in the matter when the only repair facility is in AU. _________________ TVS Motorsports -

| Contact Bonnie, she was very helpful when mine had the exact same problem you describe. I had mine back within a few weeks. |

I had the same problem. Traded emails with Sniper in Australia and discovered that occasionally they would get an LED that was temperature sensitive. If the temperature is cool the LED quits working. Quick test is to heat the unit with a hair dryer and retry. Mine came on at that point. So in the future if it is cool when you are trying to use the gauge warm the malfunctioning head with your hand, car heater, whatever. Beats sending the unit to Australia. BTW they also told me it would not be warranty so it would be at my expense. |

Get an R3.

I'm not sure who the importer is in the US but they are very good.
I've had two brand new Sniper sets fail in the last year. Poor quality... even poorer customer service for a high price _________________ What is for you won't pass by you.
