Considering the HAASE Mizar or the TonyKart Mitox for Rotax Max Challenge. Any inputs on opinions, experiences with each chassis is appreciated. Thanks!

I think that you have to look at who can help with the chassis, hopefully someone local that goes to most of your races.

Another concern is parts availability especially at the track. If other people are running your chassis there is a better chance you can borrow something and still race.

Finally, you have to look at desirability in your area or general awareness in case you want to sell the chassis some day.

I am still curous to see someone answer your original question about the two chassis you mentioned.

The reason I mention the Margay is it is a durable frame but you also live in Florida and TS Racing is in Florida so you should get good customer support on handling and motor problems.....

Ha this is funny! If you truly know what you are doing any almost chassis will go fast. The things to think about would be cost, availability and durability. In a spec class like that(and by that i mean an old guys class) durability would be a good thing to have.

Peter,

We have tested the Haase Mizar at SBRP with the Rotax package with the Vega XR spec tire and were impressed with our results. A little loose at first, but the adjustability of the Mizar (front & rear torsion bars), IMO is a good thing. Too bad the weather has started to turn up here and we?re done for the season?

Chris is right when he says that if you know what you are doing, almost anything will go fast. Put some of the elite kart drivers in a wheelbarrow and they will be fast. Consider who is nearest you for convenience.

If you have specific questions about the Haase, feel free to contact me privately.

Thanks,
