Lower Radiator hose is routed in front of seat. Would it hurt to run it behind the seat and over the shift rod then slightly up and kind of over the left side of head and down thru the pipe straight onto the water pump nipple?

Hurt? No. But sounds pretty complicated.

Hurt? Yes. If the hose came in contact with an 1100 degree pipe.

Its nowhere near the pipe and it clears everything cleanly!

Ok let me ask this then. Where or how do you Honda guys run your hose if it runs behind the seat?

Clears the pipe and shift rod by miles, tested for over 3 years on the oldest kart and as many as 12 karts that I have now put together and racing are all like this.
No more dumb questions, just look at the picture and figure it out.
BTW, it goes under the shift rod, not over it.

Looks good but I think I will go a different route!

I cant really runy hose the way you show above or
Below the shift rod without it rubbing. My J arm is in the UP position which has my shift rod is slightly curved!

My hose comes over the top and in between the pipe. Works dandy.

I ran my hose like Sam's with no problems. Just make sure you secure it to the frame.
