| When I work on my kart at home I use jack stands. Two under the front cross member and two at the rear on the chassis tubes near where the removable torsion bar mounts. Does it hurt or cause any changes if I leave it stored like that since it is designed to bear the weight on the tires or at the axle and spindles? I wouldn't think it would make too much difference, but what would others think? |

I don't think it would hurt. Most karts probably spend most of their time tied to the walls of trailers, on crossbeams, or stands, with no ill effects.
However, keep in mind that things like toe-in measurements can change slightly between an unweighted kart on the stand and the kart being on the ground with a driver in it. |

| Pat, That's the shortest answer I've ever seen you give. What's up! I'm going to try to race down at Marina next weekend, hope to see you there. Thanks. |
