Can I road race or sprint race this anywhere in the the US

All that carbon and engineering and they couldn't make a radiator with the filler neck in the proper orientation?

And carbon flex joints (in lieu of heim or sphereical joints) have been used to attach the A-arms to the chassis of modern Formula cars with Carbon tubes for years now. Carbon can be made to have whatever flex characteristic you want. Very Happy

How are the chassis lasting Michael, I'm curious?

Reeds are great, until they break...that's my point. Again, you can visually inspect steel for damage and catch potential, catastrophic cracks with the eye. Can't do that with carbon fiber.

My experience has been that formula cars that use carbon composite components are required to have a certificate of inspection, usually NDT in the form of ultrasound.

From what I've found out they last fairly well as long as they haven't been wreaked. The guy who runs one at our track said the early ones had problems with the front spindle attachments they'd flex start to move and wash out the bolt holes. beefed up that area and was ok. It's a pretty stiff ride from what he said. I wanted to try it but his seat was WAY Shocked

to small for me !

It isn't a CIK/FIA class and isn't covered by them. It's a spec kart and only raced in the south and Italy. There cool but wouldn't trade my kz for one they are trying to get more racers in the north but not doing real well. Confused

Think there target is more car guys*** than karters JMO. They're trying to get something started at La Mans ??? we'll see.
