How did you get the cylinder off with the H20 hose still connected between the cylinder and pump? _________________ Fisher Racing Engines

There's always been enough room on the motos I've had in the past do do this. Its nearly handier if you want to check the crown\head than pulling the entire head off. _________________ GPI Racing | WildKart | Maxter | Hoosier

I was just being a smart @$$
I have seen people tear everything apart (even head off) while stressing 5 min before their race vs. just pulling cylinder off with everything intact...although on the flip side, I have also seen people struggle with tight hoses and gouge the crap out of their new piston or break rings trying to put it back together lol. _________________ Fisher Racing Engines

Chris,
That's a nice dyno. Seems as we almost used same recipe Here is the dyno I build when I was running Rotax.

I looked at the TDK type large diameter wheels like yours and went a different direction. Also the Performance Trends software I didn't like because everything was extra, and you actually lease the software and not own it.
I went with a similar design as the Sport Devices Dyno plans. It's a smaller wider wheel that spins faster. I went with their hardware/software which is all inclusive, no extras to buy, and the software is free. It's all the same stuff, mine is a little bit more compact.

Sorry Brian---Smart A$$ is already taken but VICE-SmartA$$ is available--
I think biggest benefit was not having to refil coolant and questionable burb!!!!
speaking of that--I used containers of coolant that were the size that system held so I could verify that we were full----
And have used marine hot water hose(clear/reinforcing braid/see thru) to verify flow and/or bubbles still in system---also have run temp sensor in line to engine to verify temp of water entering engine---------- |
