Call Paul Kennedy, 301-856-4444. He is the current DAP importer and has all the parts you need. He is also very knowlegable with DAP karts, he has been running them for many, many years.

Jimmy, he does not use a computer, and it's the subject of "discussions" between he and I. That number is also his fax number, however.
Right now, he is probably busy getting ready for the national WKA races in Wisconsin. I have found the best time to call him is in the morning, about 10 AM eastern time on weekdays. He is based in Maryland.
What year and model is your DAP? I'll be talking to him on Monday to arrange for his trip out here on this end. If you give me your number, maybe I can intercede. Regards, Steve

I had a Dap for years, throw it away and get an Enginetics or other and you'll never have any more problems. Their stock parts are junk, while you're at it get a matching caliper for when/not if it fails.

Mike...
Ditto, My son runs a DAP enduro, and we have never, never, found a kart he cannot outbrake!! the brake system is top of the line, and many people who have never been exposed to the DAP karts really look over the brake system. I have also dealt with Paul Kennedy, and get our DAP parts from him, what a great guy he is!!!
