What would it take to get the 250 Super Karts to compete on a 1/4 mile, banked asphalt oval ? There is a good opportunity to do this. I just need to know how many would be interested ? What kind of purse $$ would the series be looking for to travel and run the race ?
thanks,

With the speeds involved and the proximity of concrete walls I don't think you'll get many takers. Would be pretty cool though. _________________ GPI Racing | WildKart | Maxter | Hoosier

concrete walls always win! maybe if the oval track had some of the "safe walls" in place like you see at the Indy/Cart races, maybe.

A safer barrier is a steel plate with blocks of foam behind tested to slow down a 4000 car.... I doubt a 500lb kart would even move it....
