What a track Mooresville is. Didn't expect to see such a dazzling venue as they have. This place appears to be well thought out with abundant room for large events. Bravo to the owners.

I'll just second that comment. It's like a miniature F1 track. A miniature Bernie would be very impressed.

Awesome place to run.....can't wait to get my motor finished so I can get back down there!

The Mooresville Motorplex is awesome. My son lives there going to school at Nascar Technical Institute. I'll be taking my shifter and my sons tag down next time I go to visit him.

Place is in my backyard. I lived in Evansville Indiana when I first realized I wanted to get into karting by driving the 3.5 hours to Indy. Fast forward one year after moving to Statesville and here I am with this amazing place. The staff there seem to be pretty damn great as well. Being new, I've had plenty of questions for them and they've answered them with patience and plenty of knowledge.

I got back into karting (after close to 30 yrs) because of this track and the people. Great staff and facility; the karters have also been great at helping to get me up to speed.

DRT Racing has ran a thousand laps at Mooresville preparing for the Skusa Supernats. The facility is first class!! Justin and Eric have been great to deal with. Everyone we dealt with there was great. This track is a must for everyone.
DRT Racing will be offering arrive and drives at this great facility. Come on down and try to beat Brian Fisher's fast time of 46.90

Todays news states they have a noise problem. Could it be the Can classes? Or shifters? 95db 30 feet off the track.

Neither cans nor shifters are the problem, so I'm told.

Its some of the more crazy run-what-ya-brung type stuff. 450s...stuff like that I guess. Packages that are in line with most rule sets are all fine, its the Open type stuff and home built stuff that is a bit out of control and it sounds like they are trying to nip it now before anyone complains.

I give them credit for establishing some guidelines before someone does it for them and for trying to be a good neighbor. Smile

95db at 30ft kinda sounds like "moran" and "F1 Outdoors", what it means for a 125 shifter is airbox with internal filter (two holes max) and elto silencer. Stock Honda may get away with "RLV 14 in moran" or 14 in M4 silencers.
