Tag mod for Rotax Carb???Has anyone else had a problem with the Green Flag Tag Carb mod. I cannot get me senior to go above 12.500 regardless of what we do. Throw on a stock carb and instantly 13.500 up.

Marc, I used to run the GFK. I found that the jetting range is very different than that of the stock carb range. You'll want to go MUCH leaner on the main jet with the GFK mod. For example, I remember running a 118 jet to get mine to spin up - I think that was the smallest I ran. With the stock carb, I rarely get below 155.

If you're using jetting software you should go through the calibration routine again and figure out your reference jetting by going leaner until it runs well.

Did you chat with Barth? The nozzle and needle tip are a bit different to stock so that affects your main jetting too.

One thing you will wanna check is that the atomizer tube a DP over a DQ. The DP isn't as tall as the DQ. It would help it rev out better.
