Can anyone tell me what gears would be a good starting point for a stock CR 125 at Blackhawk Farms in IL?

This is a handy sheet if you don't already have it..

Be sure to verify your tire circumference before running a calculation. I've never run a moto at Blackhawk now that I think of it, but Keith's suggestion seems like a good starting point.

NP. Hope to see you at blackhawk, its a great track and always sees strong shifter grids. Let us know if you need help with anything else and be sure to follow the thread linked in my signature for more info on the races next year.

Yeah should be 30+ shifters at blackhawk farms I would say. Now if we could just get as many at the other races.....

What jet setting do you run at Blackhawk? Should I keep them the same for sprint tracks or open up the main jet a little? This will be my first year in full competition for a shifter kart and Id rather not blow it up. I have been out of the karting scene for a while and running SCCA and Midwestern Council Sports Car Club

I could tell ya what I ran for a Maxter ICC but it might be different. You will be running a bigger main jet for sure, how much on a Pavesi, not sure.
