Every year I see several karts being sold after only being used at Supernationals. I was just wondering why.

All the team factory drivers fly in and have 2 karts built and waiting for them, not to mention the regular euro drivers that do the same. When the event is over they grab their helmet hop on their plane and leave.

The best deals are made Sunday at the track so the teams can lighten their load on the way home. If you are looking call any of the importers and ask I am sure they are sitting on some nice pieces.

I am very happy with my score Smile

In addition to importers, try reaching out to a solid dealer...for example...2Wild is a solid TonyKart/OTK dealer...so that is one you could call if that is what you were looking for... I have a 2011/2012 OTK Kosmic (32mm) shifter for sale, in excellent condition. I am looking to get a 2013 and that is the only reason why I am selling.

With OTK it typically works like this; A couple weeks before the race we receive an email with how many factory karts will be available at the end of the event with details on them, as well as pricing. We are then told how many we are allowed to purchase (typically 2 karts per dealer), and must reply with how many we will be buying, followed by us prepaying for the allotted amount. We do not know which karts we will be receiving, and the karts are distributed by a random draw.

The only time we are allowed to purchase more than the allotted amount is after everyone has been given the opportunity to buy, and has either failed to pay for their karts, or refused the offer. Which, for instance is why we were able to buy 5 karts on Sunday. Also, the karts cannot be bought from the factory by the public and are sold through the established dealer network.

Also, anyone in the market for a 32mm OTK product, I can vouch that the chassis Alex has is in excellent shape.

Also important to highlight that for the last SIX (6) official warm up sessions at LAKC, this chassis is undefeated - fastest time - numero uno! Race results are not important...standing starts...no good!
