|
|
Guys,
I'm rebuilding my CR125 and FINALLY got all the part I need. I test fit the transmission tonight and ran into my my first problem. I bought a used 6 speed to go in the '99 cases. It came with 5 washers in a bag but I have no idea where they go. I also noticed that one of the shafts (the one where the clutch goes moves in and out (I just test fit everything, nothing assembled yet). Since I did not remove the transmission, I am not entirely sure how it goes back in. It did turn freely and shifted gears just fine. Just have the 5 washers and the in out play on the one shaft that I am not sure about. If anyone can tell me how it goes in, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Todd |

Vernon,
Thanks for the link but I have already read through that and still can't figure out where the washers go. There are two pairs, one pair is larger than the other pair and one pair has a blue color. The other single washer is splined. Any idea where they go? |

OK....that might have helped. I had read the assembly pages but not the disassembly pages. Maybe If I completely tear down the shafts and then follow the diagrams I can check to make shure where everything goes.
I believe what I have in the bag are the thrust washers. |
