I'm looking for a one man karting stand, but it needs to be sturdy enough to carry the kart in the trailer while towing to/from the track. I have heard of some stands falling/chain breaking while towing. Please help

Thanks, Shane

Talk to the guys (Tim Koyen) at www.kartlift.com

I know he's posted regarding the issue you talk about.

Thanks Gary. Shane actually emailed me and I did respond that trailering the kart on a WinchLift can be done, but that leaving a kart on any stand takes some care due to the G forces.

I've seen this done on std "2-man" stands with creative use of winch ties, but no matter the case, there's always going to be the risk of tip over.

Tim makes a KartLift carrier that mounts on a std hitch, which carries the KartLift stand in the folded/down position. I got one myself so I can take everything to the track in my Silverado, sans trailer. Works great.
