Not sure of the Gen 2 WF's but if it does not have the PVL ignition and it's associated flywheel I would be weary of it.Not to mention that the newest generation block is much stronger. The WF is great for road racing but you really need the newest version. If you get an early version I guarantee you will eventually get a new one. (Think tick-tock ,timebomb)

Yep,

Maybe worth a couple hundred for spare parts but definitely not what you want for a reliable road racing motor.

Cheers,

Although there are great deals to be had used the WF is pretty cheap new. If you start fresh you'll always know your engine is well cared for Idea

Cheers,

We have put together a number of these with great success. Feel free to either send me a PM or email / call with any specific questions. We have found that key to getting a WF on a sprint chassis is choosing a chassis that will allow you to use the proper gear on the rear axle . Some Chassis's have the bar between the side rails welded straight, others at a bit of an angle on the right side just in front of the rear cassette. The critical part is getting the engine situated so it clears the seat, seat strut, and rear cross member. We have done them on Intrepid, Birel, CRG, Storm, Top Kart, and currently have a pair of World Formula's mounted on a Maranello R8.

The new engine packages are reliable, nearly bullet proof, and very low maintenance. Change the oil after every event, run the proper B&S oil, use good fuel and have a blast. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any other questions. Thanks George V.
