They would recommend lowering seat entirely to get it under the frame rails, but lowering the back is better then nothing. _________________ ART Grand Prix America Team Manager

Can this chart be right? I don't feel like I am that fat, but based on this chart I can't even fit in a size 4 seat? I am just getting ready to buy my first OTK kart and need a seat. I am 6'2 185lbs. Smallest part of my waist (A) is about 13.5 inches wide and right under my arm pits (B) is about 15" which looks like 342.9mm and 381mm respectively. Maybe my conversions are wrong? I wear a size 32/32 jeans. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wear the same pant size, am the same height, but just weigh a little less, and fit with plenty of room into a OTK size 2 seat. Maybe go 3, but definitely not 4. |

When we were running the Kosmic we had a size 2 OTK seat on one and a medium Tillet on the other. The OTK was slightly more snug (as far as he can remember). At the time he was about 5'6" and about 135lbs. The seats were slightly too big for him but he wore an Armadillo rib vest and that took up most of the slack. For reference, he is now about 5'8" and about 145-150lbs. and uses a Kartech (Arrow) medium seat. When we first got the Arrow he had a small but it was very snug. He does not wear any type of rib vest with the Kartech seats.
Don't know if any of this helps but thought I would offer it. _________________ Blaise Haynes

| Thanks Dan, I am currently running a Tillet ML with a rib vest, which I am planning on continuing to use, so I think I will go with the OTK size 3. Thanks for your replies. |
