| when running on meth. what should I look for in the spark plug? and what sort of gap should I run? |

| I run between .030 and .035. No real reason just that that number seems to stick in my brain better. It is hard to read a plug on methanol because they run so clean. I have been told by very knowledgeable people to worry more about head temp and try to run as hot of plug as possible. I set the jetting on a Briggs so I end up at 1-½ turns out. I have also started sending my granddaughter out rich and let her tune it down till in runs smooth. The best part about methanol is when you pull the head off and see how clean it is! |
