Improving seat position

i really need to improve my seat position and i'm searching for more options without have to change any part like seat or anything like that.

so the two differences i made between this picture and present are: put the pedals as long as i could and put one washer(1cm) on front of the seat to put my head a little more to the rear

here is the picture:

this is a jarno trulli jt3 and it's fully equiped with OTK parts like they sold it.

i'm 183cm tall and for my height i consider i have long legs.

what do you advise to change to improve my seat position? to have more strained legs.
and what do you think about steering wheel height? maybe a little bit low than i need?

I'll take a stab... the obvious choice is to move the seat back.

Ok, maybe you like your scaling where it is, but I know someone that is at least 6'2" (188 cm) and his seat is way back. His kart still scales well, so maybe he has heavy legs. Regardless, it's worth trying in your case.

sorry to forget in mention that....my seat is all the way to the back.
and it's by the dimensions on the OTK seat guide

You might also want to consider extending the front porch to move weight forward.

i think i won't need the front porch.

i need to use ballast to achieve minimum weight where i race, i have my kart well balanced

The OTK seat guide, is just that a guide. Keep in mine they may be developing their seat guide based on 5'3'' midgets. If the kart scales perfectly where you want it, but your knees are in your chest, it won't be fun to drive.

You may want to look at a different seat. Tillett makes various seat models. Tony Kart may even offer a different model seat in the same size as you require. Tony kart also offers a very well designed front porch extension.

yes, i think the seat it will be a good upgrade, maybe a T11 offers me the best seat position i can achieve.

regarding the front porch, i think it will be too much, i think i only need a few more cm's

or do you advise another seat?

Get the front porch extension.

Either buy it or make one. It will be the best thing you've even gotten!!

right now, i only can move up the seat, for the back or below it's impossible.

and about the seat, if i choose i a seat like t11 it only helps with my arms , not my legs right?

and regarding the steering column, do you think it's too low?

You may be able to install the t11 a bit lower so it may help your legs a bit. But it will give you more arm distance. I would try the t11t, a longer steering shaft and an angled steering wheel hub.

If you don't want an extended porch I would try a longer column and a t11 or similar seat. I guess it depends on your preference and how much you want to spend. See if you can increase the angle on the column too, that should be free.

i will try first the new seat, new steering column and an angled boss.

i will try to increase the angle on the column, i have a otk bush with 4 positions, maybe it will help a bit
