Interesting, I'll have to call Comet and ask them about it.
FWIW, I know Horstman is working on a new clutch, there are prototypes out there. I also heard today that there will be a Patriot v2 coming out as well. When those are coming out, I don't know.
Jeff I would probably try springs, maybe give rex a call and ask him about it. Your clutch is just isn't old enough to be junk yet, IMO. But what do I know... |

| I am going with the Tomar this time. I will have Comet evaluate my Patriot and see what they think about rebuilding it. I will make sure we replace those springs too. It would be nice to have two but my next purchase is a Tomar from Motorama -MKP. Thanks for all the advice. |

| The TOMAR name has been around for a long time offering a good product. TOMAR was purchased by QUARTERMASTER (a highly respected race car clutch company) a while back. They have a huge machine and manufacturing background with a great customer service. QM/TOMAR tested numerous compounds this year with huge success on what is in store for 2013. User friendly, consistent, performance enhanced and with reliability. |

Thanks Steve. Sounds like I made the right choice. |

Jeff,
My Nephews Colton Ramsey & Chad Kruger have won several National & Regional events with L&T CLUTCHES. Jeff & Rick Robinson are great guys to deal with and the clutch is fast and if you don't abuse it, the clutch will last quite a while.
